Following on from the success of the “Learn to Scratch” mug decorating and “Spread a Little Cariad” Lovespoon workshops at the Pantri Box in Porthcawl, we are back with another making Workshop!
Unlike previous workshops you can choose what you would like to make/decorate. The option includes Lovespoon making, Mug decorating or making a little candle holder or self love shrine!
This workshop is perfect for spreading a little love, whether to a lover, friend or simply some self love. We’ll be manifesting love and celebrating it in it’s purest form!
 
In this 2 hour workshop you’ll be creating your own ceramic piece (or decorating a mug), I’ll introduce you to the Sgraffito technique which you’ll use to decorate your pottery. Working with raw clay and slip to carve your own designs you’ll create a piece which is truly unique.
 
I will be on hand to quite you through this mindful workshop as you explore the process, you can choose from a range of colours and I will provide extra visual material to help you to create a design you love.
 
Each workshop is an informal and intimate experience.
The workshop will take place at the beautiful Pantri Box, the Harlequin Building, Porthcawl, CF36 3BL.
It starts at 11am and will finish at 1pm. There is parking by the shop, although you may need to pay for the duration.
The shop is accessible via a small ramp.
You’ll also be able to browse the beautiful refill and zero waste shop.
 
Sweet treats and a hot beverage will also be included in the workshop, although alternative beverages are also available.
All materials and tools will be provided, all you need to do is bring yourself, however feel free to bring yourself any extra visual material that you think will inspire your piece!
 
Once your piece has dried and been fired and glazed, I can post your Lovespoon to you or can arrange collection or drop - location depending.
 
**PLEASE NOTE: pottery will take up to 4 weeks from decorating to glazing so you will not be able to take your piece home at the end of the workshop - but they will be worth the little wait!
